Meridian Care are delighted to be able to
announce an expansion of the areas we are covering in conjunction with
Justice For the Forgotten. Now along with Belturbet and Cavan in general
we are now covering all the border counties. This enables peoples from
these areas also to avail of our range of therapies.Justice for the Forgotten
was formed in January 1996 with the aim of campaigning for truth and justice
for the victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings of 17 May 1974. Its
membership includes the overwhelming majority of the bereaved families
and many wounded survivors. In January 2001 the bereaved families and
survivors of the Dublin bombings of 1 December 1972 and 20 January 1973
joined with those of 1974 and amalgamated into a united organisation demanding
to know the truth as to how and why all their loved ones were cruelly
murdered and so many were maimed.Meridian Care were very proud to be asked
to attend and participate in this years choral festival which was held
in Montreal. The Gala festival takes place every 4 years usually in the
United States or Canada. Here choirs from all over the world get together
to perform ,share experiences and participate in work shops. Our staff
provided a range of therapies to the performing chorusters ranging from
Ireland to Australia,America,France,Germany and beyond. We were also very
happy to be able to present over $1000 to Gala which we raised from donations
throughout the week long festival.
